Two new cars from Korea, with love
Korean automakers Hyundai and Kia take the limelight at the 2009 New York auto show, launching a futuristic concept and a sporty coupe. Hyundai's new concept takes a look at what a future crossover model might look like, while Kia takes its recently launched Forte sedan and gives it a performance treatment, taking on front-wheel-drive favorites such as the Honda Civic Si.

But that thing is freaking ugly, Hyundai and Kia need a better designer.
Based on the 3 major reliability surveys in the industry (JD Power, Consumer Reports and Autobild) - the only 2 mainstream auto brands (i.e. - not upscale or luxury brands) who consistently do better than Hyundai are Toyota and Honda.
Hyundai's reliability is ahead of import makes like Nissan, Mitsubishi, Mazda, VW much less domestics like Chevy and Dodge.
And oh, models like the Hyundai Elantra handle better than the appliance-on-wheels Toyota Corolla and the Genesis Coupe is considered to be superior on the track to the Infiniti G37.
Which car is your experienced based on and what are you comparing it with. We just want to make sure we are comparing apples to apples and oranges to oranges. It would not be fair to compare one car from another price bracket.
They are very competitive price-wise and offer some of the best warranties and incentives in the business. Also, if you do some search online, you will find that Korean cars have been winning awards for their quality. I own a Korean car and I am happy with it. It's been troublefree and reliable. I will buy another one when it's time to replace one of my other cars.
I don't know what you are smoking but I think they are in a better position these days comapre to GM and Chrysler.
Yeah, got laid off after buying a hyundai car, and I returned the car to hyundai and got all my money back, damn they have good service.
And American cars are failing...
