"Excellent buy, great features and super all around!"
Pros: For the money it is great....fast, good basic video card, big screen, everthing in one. Fingerprint reader, backlit AND full size keyboard with number pad too!
Cons: It does attract fingerprints....and the battery doesnt last long so if you need more than 1 1/2 hrs away from the socket you better get the 2nd battery.

"Worst notebook ever -fault after fault after fault etc"
Pros: It weighs quite a lot... so i guess a pro could be it has an alternate function as an anchor... or a doorstop... or a paperwieght
Cons: Upon arrival my shiny new HDX18 was great until i turned it on... The quick touch buttons didn't work and kept randomly turning the volume up and down and the wireless on and off. So i called HP for help... its been 3 months and counting. HP SUCKS!

"This is just the best laptop! Love it all"
Pros: The built-in Tv tuner is amazing, I had no hassle get freeview. And it comes with two remote controls, that's exactly how Enterteinment laptops should be. Love the full HD, image quality is great! Windows Vista isn't perfect but it just works!
Cons: The glossy finish just captures fingerprints, Batttery life isn't great, especially when on best performance setting. Vista comes back with at least 2 crash reports a day, probably 64-bit architecture doesn't really work well with some of my s/w.

"Laptop eye-candy with a awesome screen!"
Pros: Full keyboard, large 18.6 inch screen (LCD style), fingerprint lock, booming sound system for a laptop.
Cons: Battery life on high performance setting is MAYBE an hour, problems with keyboard when I first received it and had to ship it back for repair, (pressing letters generated other keys), smudges show up like it were made out of glass!

"Known issues with quick launch buttons/sleep mode!!!!!!"
Pros: Good laptop if you can get past the annoying system issues it has!
Cons: HP has new "quick launch buttons" on their laptops that are causing issues with the buttons themselves and external software/devices (outlook/wireless mouse). Also, they have known issues with the sleep mode on this model.
